All the kids in a town over night become feverish and have convulsions.<\/h3>\n

The studios obviously knew the previous film was stronger as it only took them a year to release this next installment.<\/h3>\n

If I’m honest my hopes weren’t too high for this feature, I actually felt like “Children Of The Corn III \u2013 Urban Harvest” was a fluke, I really did. Luckily I was proven wrong as this feature is by far one of the best entries in the series. I know a-lot of Horror fans who’d agree to that statement.<\/h3>\n

My big problem with the feature though, despite it’s great moments (which I will get too), it relies way too much on dream sequences. Now this may not be a problem for some fans but I’ve never really been a fan of them and feel they are overused in this film.<\/h3>\n

\"Capture\"<\/a><\/p>\n

Like I said though, the film does have it’s strong points. The cast do a fantastic job , a young Naomi Watts can be seen and so can Horror legend Karen Black who never did a bad job. It also tries to give us something new with the storyline and I do have to give it credit for taking such a risky move. My favourite thing is the films atmosphere, it has an air of dread throughout the whole thing and that’s hard to pull off.<\/h3>\n

Director Greg Spence\u00a0did a great job, once again the reigns were handed to a first timer and it’s shocking to see he only has one other Directing credit to his name after this, and for you gore fans, well there’s plenty of blood splattered throughout the film to keep you happy.<\/h3>\n

“Children Of The Corn IV – The Gathering” is a solid entry in the franchise and most definitely worth a watch, just give it a chance and see.<\/h3>\n
