Greetings Gamers,<\/strong><\/p>\n

How was your 2014? \u00a0Mine was a blast with all kinds of new games to play. \u00a0Today, I want to review my favorite app game there is right now. \u00a0The game is called Contest of Champions and it is a result of the great partnership of Marvel and Kabam games. \u00a0This is by far the best Marvel app game in my opinion. \u00a0Kabam did a wonderful job putting this game together.<\/strong><\/p>\n

What makes this game so great? \u00a0Well, for starters, you are fighting against Kang, Thanos, and others after the Collector has summoned you to do so. \u00a0You see the Collector has been collecting Champions and it is up to you to free them from their crystalline prison. \u00a0The official description of the game is as follows, “An Elder of The Universe known as The Collector has summoned you to a contest of epic proportions against Marvel super villains Kang The Conqueror, Thanos and more to come. Experience the ultimate free-to-play fighting game for your mobile device.”\u00a0<\/em>(Official Facebook page<\/a>)<\/strong><\/p>\n

My team so far contains the heroics of Hawkeye, Spider-Man, Iron Fist, Colossus, Wolverine, Iron Man, Black Panther, Gamora,and the Scarlet Witch. \u00a0I also have one bad ass on my team known as Abomination. \u00a0You have several rankings of heroes\/villains. \u00a0You start with one star and can go all the way up to four stars. \u00a0The more stars, the more special attacks you have. \u00a0You can sell your heroes as well. \u00a0For example, when I got my 2 star Wolverine, I sold my 1 star. \u00a0The beauty is, if you get a duplicate champion, you get cool stuff in it’s place.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Once you h ave your Champions, you can edit your team to go on quests. \u00a0There are also versus modes as well as special events, but you want to always do at complete at least one quest a day. \u00a0You get all kinds of bonus crystals as well as “treasure” chests that can unlock energy, health, and in some cases a new Champion. \u00a0Right now, I am fighting against the Adaptoids. \u00a0I already defeated the 6 chapters quest that was against Kang.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Each fighter has something that makes them unique. Mutants, brawlers, aliens, and scientists \u00a0are just some of the different types of traits your fighters have. When choosing a fighter, you may want to keep that in mind, it may help you in the end. You also have different areas of battle. \u00a0My favorite arena to fight in right now is Dr. Strange’s mansion.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Another feature that makes this game amazing is the the daily crystals. \u00a0Every 4 hours you get a new energy crystal. \u00a0These crystals can give you gold, energy, or even health. \u00a0Every 24 hours you get a Champion crystal. \u00a0This crystal doesn’t just offer champions, but you have a strong possibility of getting a 2 star champion by using this crystal. There are also Arena crystals from completing the versus mode. \u00a0Harder to get a champion, but it is possible.<\/strong><\/p>\n

I cannot say enough positive things about this game. \u00a0It is just pure awesome! \u00a0I mean, it is almost like having control of the classic “Secret Wars” story line in your hands. \u00a0I gladly give this game a strong rating of 11 out of 10. \u00a0By far the best App Game of 2014. \u00a0I cannot wait to see what 2015 has to offer.<\/strong><\/p>\n
