Remember that scientist that was trying to perfect a matter transportation machine but got fused with a fly when one of the little critters got into the transporter with him? Well, this story is about three of his descendents.<\/h3>\n

By now the well had started to run dry for this series, but that didn’t mean we couldn’t get one more entry in the franchise.<\/h3>\n

\"Capturenn\"<\/a><\/p>\n

Vincent Price is missing from this installment. By the\u00a0time this was filmed, Price was under contract to American International Pictures. It’s a shame as he was the mainstay of the series and it would’ve been nice to wrap up the series with him.<\/h3>\n

With the film being produced in the UK it showcases a lot of British talent from the time, \u00a0Brian Donlevy puts in a stellar performance that makes the rest of the cast pick up their game, as does\u00a0Carole Gray. They’re most certainly the most notable performers in the film.<\/h3>\n

\"Capture\"<\/a><\/p>\n

Sure the film seems corny now and admittedly hasn’t aged well but it still has a-lot going for it, it’s got a great atmosphere that’s very tense and sometimes spooky and whilst it isn’t as good as it’s predecessors it does still tell a great story.<\/h3>\n

Believe it or not\u00a0this film was rarely seen for many, many years after it’s release, as it was the only entry in the entire “Fly” series never to receive a home-video\u00a0release. It did not receive its home-video premiere until 2007, when it was released on DVD in a box set with the original series of films.<\/h3>\n

\"Curse<\/a><\/p>\n

“Curse Of The Fly” is a fun watch and is a good addition to the series, but it was a good place to stop the original franchise.<\/h3>\n
