A woman must battle for her loved one’s soul when an ancient Ouija board opens a pathway to a demonic force.<\/h3>\n

This time it only took 2 years to release a sequel.<\/h3>\n

With this sequel we see the male character get drawn into the Ouija this time, though it doesn’t really matter as it’s the character no the gender that matters really. We also see a twist taken in the story itself, instead of seeing another rehash like the last sequel we see more of a possession film.<\/h3>\n

Unlike the last sequel this sequel suffers from its budgetary restraints instead of embracing it, it just tries to reach a little too far and it shows. You can’t fault the studio for being too ambitious though, at least they had some enthusiasm to try and push forwards and not play it safe.<\/h3>\n

The cast don’t do to bad a job of keeping the story flowing, I will say they do an amazing job of character development and you become invested in what’s going on which is all you can really ask from a film. It also features a squeamish suicide scene, which makes up for one dreadful murder scene.<\/h3>\n

This film sees\u00a0Peter Svatek take on Director duties, I understand why there was a change and whilst Svatek did a decent enough job here it felt like it was missing that special touch that\u00a0Kevin Tenney had. Though it does feature the coolest Ouija board of the series, Seriously I’d buy it if I saw it.<\/h3>\n

“Witchboard III – The Possession” is a decent enough film, it just lacks in a lot of areas but give it a whirl. Look out for the rubbery demon!<\/h3>\n
