Well folks, there you have it. The entire \u201cWitchboard\u201d franchise review.<\/h3>\n

It\u2019s been interesting looking back over this franchise.<\/h3>\n

I haven’t seen these films in years and it was real fun rediscovering these lost gems, I must say that the first film has especially been lost over time and deserves more recognition than it gets. I was shocked at how much I enjoyed it, I honestly didn’t expect it.<\/h3>\n

Like I said though it deserves more recognition, it bucked the trend of a lot of horror films at the time and featured very little nudity and very little blood. It was very much story driven and the sequels followed that and I found that refreshing even now.<\/h3>\n

One thing I’d like to point out is that this series features two of the most annoying characters I have ever watched, the characters of\u00a0 ‘Zarabeth’ the psychic and ‘Elaine’ the landlady, I cringed every time they came on my screen and I’m sure I’m not alone in thinking that.<\/h3>\n

There has been rumours of a remake or a reboot of the series, it’s no surprise with how popular the supernatural genre is at the moment but there’s so many now and with the “Ouija” films turning into a series these would just get lost in the mix.<\/h3>\n

The “Witchboard” franchise is one appreciated by those who have fond memories of the films and those who appreciate films on the lower budget end. Give them a try, at least the first feature and rediscover them like I did.<\/h3>\n
