A film student who is obsessed with the movie Grave Encounters sets out with his friends to visit the psychiatric hospital depicted in the original film.

When I first saw “Grave Encounters” it automatically became one of my favourite found footage films, as a big fan of the sub-genre it takes a-lot to impress me as so many films have flooded the market and a-lot of the recent releases being high quality, I even wrote a review of it for my blog (which you can read here). When I first heard the news of a sequel I was sceptical, I always am with sequels, you start to wonder “What will the story be?” and many more questions.

Then when I heard the “Vicious Brothers” were writing the sequel my optimism rised, it’s always good to have the same writing team as I find the continuity flow is much stronger, Unfortunately though they wont be directing this time round, that job has gone to John Poliquin and this will be his feature directorial debut. Also on the crew is Ryan Nicholson, an effects master in my eyes, a modern day Savini, so that’s got me excited. The trailer for the film looks awesome, lets just hope they haven’t stuck all the best bits in it and have left a few surprises up their sleeves.
