A young woman travels to Texas to collect an inheritance; little does she know that an encounter with a chainsaw-wielding killer is part of the reward.

Forget everything you knew about the “T.C.M” franchise, as “Texas Chainsaw 3D” has been made as a direct sequel to the 1974 original. Now I’m going to be severely honest here, do we REALLY need ANOTHER re-boot of the “T.C.M” franchise? It was only ten years ago that we had Michael Bays Platinum Dunes company gave us a remake and a sequel and even then a-lot of fans weren’t happy, now with the 3d gimmick (which in my opinion has outstayed it’s welcome) added to the mix you have to ask if this is just a cash in? The film had been doing the rounds of the rumour mill for quite some time and I honestly thought it would become nothing more than that, just a rumoured film that would end up development hell, well I was proven wrong.

One thing that did my attention is the return of Bill Moseley to the franchise, this time he’s back to play the role of Drayton Sawyer. I’m a huge Bill Moseley fan so this has me torn a little because I think this film is going to be awful! Now I know a-lot of the statements will anger a-lot of you but it’s just my opinion and I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, I’d love to be proven wrong. Heck, I didn’t think this film would ever be made so they proved me wrong there. I know I’ll end up watching this out of sheer curiosity, but the trailer doesn’t look promising, just see for yourself…..
