For my first official post I’d like to share some videos that I’ve found amazing. I’ve been playing Minecraft for a good while now and just recently started using the ever so confusing redstone. When I looked for examples of how to use redstone all I ever found was YouTubers showing how to make their contraptions and how they use redstone, which is good if they are making the exact thing I’m looking for but usually it wasn’t. Then one of the Minecraft YouTubers that I’m subscribed to put out a new series of videos labeled Redstone Academy. GenerikB is in my opinion one of the best redstoners I’ve found on YouTube and in this series he shares that knowledge with us all. Instead of showing you how to build something he explains exactly what and how the redstone mechanisms do what they do. So that we can take that knowledge and apply it to our own creations. Here are all the Redstone Academy videos to date and be sure to check out all of GenerikB’s other videos HERE on his channel. Enjoy.

What to write, what to write. Well I have always been behind the scenes here at SomeWhatNerdy.com doing various things but never really felt like I was doing enough to claim to be apart of SomeWhatNerdy. Well my fellow nerds that ends now. I've had my hand in the majority of the SomeWhatNerdy YouTube page and now its time for me to step up and support the growth of the website. I've always been a nerd at heart. I love video games and all kinds of new technology so you can expect to see my posts reflect that. Hope you enjoy the site and remember "The only thing necessary for the triumph of evil is for good men to do nothing."
