I decided to give you another cosplay interview this week since I took a little hiatus.  This cosplay interview features a beautiful cosplayer from Canada that I first discovered on the site www.deviantart.com. (NSFW)  I was looking through my Marvel watch folder when I came across a cosplay of Ms. Marvel done in body paint.  I immediately thought this cosplayer would be perfect for an interview.  So I emailed the lovely cosplayer and she was thrilled to talk about her work, so here is my interview with the lovely Frinda Frisk.

1. Who are you and where are you from?

Frinda Frisk from Ontario Canada

2. How did you discover cosplay?

I was always into costuming and dressing up and I truly “discovered” cosplaying online.

3. I really love your Shadow Cat cosplay. What made you choose her?

I love the character and have for a really long time (I’ve been a fan of the comics since I was 8) she’s sweet, fun, feisty and powerful.

4. I noticed you do a lot of cosplaying in body paint; in fact I think you may have started a trend. What made you come up with that idea?

I was introduced to body painting with the miss marvel concept and honestly I got hooked after that. its an excellent way to get a feel for a character or cosplay something that is skintight in the design like the Samus zero suit.

5. What other genres do you cosplay?

I an getting into more anime cosplay but I really have a larger focus to the fantasy and comic book genres.

6. Do you go to conventions to show off your cosplay or do you do photo shoots only?

I was going to conventions to show them off long before I started doing photo-shoots and it continues to be a large part of my costume making. I love showing it off and seeing people’s reactions first hand.

7. Do you do other modeling besides cosplay?

I do casual and fashion modeling as well I’ve been thinking more lingerie and artist concepts.

8. What are your plans for the future?

I hope to grow my skills and after I get me degree in theatre i would love to work in the costume department of a theatre or as a seamstress of some kind.

9. Where can my readers see more examples of your work?
