Well folks, there you have it. The entire “Children Of The Corn” series review

It’s been great looking over this fun franchise.

The series of films is a-lot stronger than people give it credit for, sure it went rotten towards the end but for a while it had a strong run (apart from “Children Of The Corn II: The Final Sacrifice”) and in my own opinion it should have ended with “Children Of The Corn 666: Isaac’s Return”.

Talking of “Isaac”, he may not have too much screen time but the time he does have is certainly well enough to earn him the right to be one of the all time creepiest children on film. His preaching ways were very authentic and cult leader like that you felt yourself drawn into what he was saying, which is great as he held your attention when on screen.

The creepiest and scariest character for me though was ‘Malachai’ that was truly terrifying, he was unhinged and cut an intimidating figure with his height and obvious anger issues. I’d like to have seen more interaction throughout the series between the two characters of ‘Isaac’ and ‘Malachai’ throughout the series, but it never went that way.

This film is also responsible for me shouting “OUTLANDER” to people who visit my house, maybe that’s why I don’t get many visitors these days…..

“Children Of The Corn” is a great series that, like many other franchises, should’ve ended a little sooner but it;s still a strong series nonetheless.
