Well folks, there you have it. The entire “Class Of Nuke ‘Em High” franchise review.
I’ve seriously enjoyed looking back over this franchise.
As a fan of Troma films I can’t even begin to tell you how much I love this franchise and was finally glad to get to review it. Lloyd Kaufman is a man who deserves more credit than he gets, he manages to entertain on such a low budget and that is not an easy thing.
One thing I’ve always thought about this series is that it would work really well as a comic or an adult animated series. I’d love to see something like this happen as it has a strong foundation and a story that could go a million different ways.
The “Class Of Nuke ‘Em High” series is still talked about all these years later, fans talk about it with a huge grin on their faces and whether you’re laughing at it, with it or both, then it’s done it’s job. It entertained you and made you escape reality, even just for a split second.
I can’t wait for “Return to Nuke ‘Em High Volume 2” to be released, especially if Volume 1 was an indication of what to expect. It was actually Quentin Tarantino who suggested splitting up the movie into two volumes, Kaufman thought it made sense because there was a huge amount of footage and would be over 3 hours long if it wasn’t split up.
The “Class Of Nuke ‘Em High” franchise is a fun and wacky series, enjoy it for what it is.
