Well folks, there you have it. The entire “Demonic Toys” review
It’s been tons of fun looking back over this franchise.
Anyone who’s read my stuff before will know how huge a fan I am of “Full Moon” films, so to get the chance to look back at this often overlooked franchise truly was very enjoyable.
As you can imagine there was some great merchandise surrounding this cult series, there’s been figurines, comic books and even trading cards. Unfortunately I never got the chance to read the comics and they fetch a very high price on sites like eBay so I probably never will.
The “Demonic Toys” series has featured some great evil dolls over the series, my favourite being ‘Baby Oopsie Daisy’. They’ve also been seen in other features outside this series in such films as “Blood Dolls”, “When Puppets And Dolls Attack!”, “DevilDolls” and “The Haunted Dollhouse”. As fun as they are I’m still waiting for “Demonic Toys 3”.
“Full Moon” originally planned to make a “Puppet Wars” Mini-series around the same time as ‘Puppet Master Vs Demonic Toys’ back in the 90’s – however the series idea was scrapped due to insufficient funds. Such a shame, we can only imagine how awesome this would’ve been, it’s still not too late though….
“Demonic Toys” is highly entertaining and if you can’t enjoy these films then you have a serious lack of a sense of humour.
