Well folks, there you have it. The entire “Leprechaun” franchise review.

It was fun looking back over this franchise.

I have to admit that I had to rewatch all the films again as I hadn’t watched them in a very long time, I was quite shocked at how much they made me laugh and at how much I really enjoyed them. In my mind they were something I remembered as being boring, how wrong I was.

In 2009 a comic book series was released, it made some revelations about the character which I won’t give away but I’m definitely going to be hunting them down, I’m kicking myself at myself for missing out on them the first time round.

As a series this franchise is quite strong, as usual it always falls apart at the end but the first 4 films are hugely entertaining and Warwick Davis such a joy to watch, as I said in my reviews his enthusiasm for the character was infectious and you can’t help but smile when he’ onscreen.

Like any Horror franchise there has been rumours of crossovers over the year, the main two being Leprechaun VS Chucky and Leprechaun VS Wishmaster. Personally, as much as I enjoyed rewatching these, I feel it’s a franchise that’s best left alone now.

“Leprechaun” is tons of fun and a franchise that sets out to entertain it’s audience and succeeds, go and rewatch it and you may get a new perspective on it like I did.
