Well folks, there you have it. The entire “Wrong Turn” franchise review.

It was interesting looking back over this franchise.

Eliza Dushku was once rumored to reprise her role from the first Wrong Turn after admitting in an interview that she’d love to return to the series, she must’ve seen the big dip in quality as we all know she never did return you really can’t blame her.

My problem with sequels is it can take away some of the unknown, the first film left us with so many questions that it’s mystery is part of the charm. As the series went on so much was just served to us and it wasn’t exactly great story telling.

In October 2014, a court case was filed in Ireland over the unauthorized use of a photo of a woman who went missing in County Wexford. The resulting court ordered injunction filed in November 2014 resulted in distributor 20th Century Fox to recall all DVD and Blu-ray releases of the film and pull all online streaming sources. Because of this “Wrong Turn 6” is a rarity to find.

“Wrong Turn” as a franchise is admittedly a weak one, the first film was so much fun and even though the sequels had their moments it’s lack of quality writing and direction took the series off the rails pretty quickly and it’s a shame as at it’s core it’s a dark story that has a lot of promise. We will never learn.

“Wrong Turn” isn’t over yet with a seventh addition being rumoured for 2017, don’t get your hopes up though.
