Today is Wednesday and this is a cosplay interview post which can only mean one thing.  It is time for another Where Are They Now interview to catch you up with a cosplayer who I thought was worth the time to interview once again.  Today we have a real treat because not only is this person a talented cosplayer, but she is an up and coming wrestler who will be a legend in the near future I am sure.  For those of you who may remember, I interviewed a cosplayer by the name of Jeanne Killjoy over a year ago and we talked about her cosplays and such.  Today, you may have seen her on TV and not even realize it.  She was one of the “Rosebuds” when Adam Rose made is WWE Raw debut a few weeks ago (See photo below). I feel like I am rambling, so let’s just get to the interview shall we?

1. It has been a little over a year since I first interviewed you, how have you been?

I can’t believe it’s already been over a year! Despite everything that has happened since then, things have been really good.

2. What new cosplays have you done since the last time we spoke?
In all honesty, I’ve been doing A LOT less cosplaying over the past year between dedicating more time to wrestling and breaking my leg, but a few that I’ve done a few more versions of Rogue, Mystique, Surge from X-Men, Sailor Jupiter, Hilda from Pokemon, a few genderbends, and I think I’m forgetting one or two lol. I do have quite a few in the works that I plan on debuting at AnimeNEXT and a few other summer conventions.

3. Out of all your past cosplays, do you have a favorite?
This used to be such an easy question! Rogue will always have a special place with me though, so it’s just a matter of which Rogue is my favorite. Ah! This is so hard, but I think I really love cosplaying X-Men Legacy Rogue. The costume alone is amazing and I feel like I can relate the most with her.

4. I also saw that you are doing some work in the squared circle. How did your career in wrestling get started?
I grew up watching wrestling as long as I could remember and always said I wanted to be a wrestler when I “grew up”. It’s one of those things kids say and no one takes seriously. It wasn’t until I had some really bad things happen in my life and have a heart to heart with a friend that I said “Screw it.” and decided to follow a dream that I had as a kid and still wanted to do as an adult. Right after that I looked into schools, saved up money, and can’t believe how far I’ve gone in a little over a year. Since I started training, I’ve been working my ass off, discovering muscles I didn’t know existed, broke my leg, and came back better than ever.

5. When can we expect to see you in the ring?
I think you guys will be seeing me in the ring a lot sooner rather than later. Right now, you can see me doing backstage interviews on CZW’s YouTube, and popping up on a few WSU shows.

6. What has been your favorite cosplay since we last talked?
Well, Rogue is still my favorite cosplay, just a different version of her is my favorite now, however, I’ll twist the question a bit and say that my favorite shoot since we last talked was a Power Ranger shoot I did last summer. I dressed in some casual yellow clothes and was attacked by a putty in the park. There just so happened to be a photography there to catch me kicking some butt =P

7. What can we expect from you in the future, cosplay and/or wrestling wise?
You can expect me to be in full force with EVERYTHING. I’m definitely going to be in the ring more and more as the year goes on since I plan on continuing to work my ass off with training. I will be a guest at some conventions this year and will even be going to parts of the country for cons I’ve never been to. I’ve been making more of my own cosplays, so expect some new cosplays from me as well.

8. What comic titles are you currently reading?
I’ve actually been trying out a lot of new titles recently, but the one that sticks out in my mind is Coffin Hill. It’s a lot different than the Marvel and Zenescope titles that I’m used to reading.

9. Do you have a favorite video game that you are playing at the moment?
I recently finished playing Danganronpa: Trigger Happy Havoc and HIGHLY recommend it. Other than that I plan on picking up the new Conception and Deception games for the Vita once I have some extra cash.

10. If you could work with any cosplayer (that you have not worked with yet), who would it be?
There are so many talented cosplayers out there, but a few that I would love to collaborate with would probably be Liz Katz, Vampy Bit Me, or Nicole Marie Jean.
