As we last left the X-men, Kurt teleported everyone out of danger onto that realm’s Xavier’s ship to escape the wrath of the gods and their new allies, Xavier and Emmeline from the other realm. Anyway, the ‘good” Xavier and Magneto take their new friends to Utopia.
However, this is not the Utopia we are used to. This time it is a sanctuary to hide the mortals from the gods. The gods have gone mad and this realm’s Xavier is helping shield the mortals from their wrath, or is he? Anyway, Xavier tries to spy on the gods and realizes the other Xavier has pin pointed were they are and tells the X-men they have to fight and kill the Xavier they came to this realm with.
So, they do what they always do, they prepare for the fight of their lives. Dawn arrives and the battle is on. Xavier gets close to Storm and realizes something is a foot. The Xavier of that realm is the one who drove the gods mad in the first place. It is under his spell that caused all the grief. Only when that Xavier was dead could that dimension know peace.
After what needed to be done was done, Storm offered the dimensional jumpers to stay on their realm, but they refused. All, but one, Emmeline decided to stay with the gods. With that being said the team is down to three and floating head.
The writing has been well done so far and the art of Segovia and Diaz is out of this dimension. I look forward to reading issue #4 as soon as I get it. I give this issue a 10 out of 10 rating. Happy Reading!
